Cynda Fleming is a professional trumpet player in the Greater Toronto Area.

She has international experience performing in orchestras, brass bands, brass quintets, and as a soloist. She has an extensive background as a wedding trumpeter, and has performed everywhere from small chapels to large cathedrals.

She has been teaching trumpet for 15 years in both Canada and in Switzerland. Cynda has studied with Robert Oades, Erik Schultz, Stephen Chenette, and Jeff Reynolds. She has performed in masterclasses for the Canadian Brass,Vincent Cichowicz, Anthony Plog, James Thompson, and Jens Lindemann, and has attended masterclasses given by such internationally renowned artists as: the Atlantic Brass Quintet, Tiger Okoshi, John Wallace, Allen Vizzutti, Michael Sachs, and Fred Mills, and Adolph Herseth.

As well as performing, Cynda also enjoys conducting and composing. She directed the University of Toronto Trumpet Ensemble which performed several of her arrangements, and currently directs and arranges all of the music for a student jazz group at Leaside United Church.
